Personal Equipment That You Must Bring When Trekking Rinjani
When you sign up with Adi Trekker(Booking Your Mount Rinjani Trekking)), majority of your camp supplies are provided. Therefore, you don’t have to worry about bringing extra items for your camp stay. With Adi Trekker, the cost of the Mount Rinjani Trekking Packages includes the following:
A mountain guide fluent in English.
Local porters who will take care of your meals and carrying of your camp stay essentials.
Camping essential items such as tent, sleeping bags, mattresses, toilet tent, and cooking sets, utensils etc.
Food ingredients, tropical fresh fruits, soft drinks & assorted beverages Indonesian style coffee, fresh brewed tea, lemon, ginger
All drinking water we provide daily comes from safe drinking bottled water.
Please note that our porters are only responsible for carrying the camping equipment and all the logistics required for the hike. If you require additional porters to carry your personal belongings, they are available at an extra cost of US$ 25 per porter per day.
For your safety, we strongly recommend you to travel as light as possible as the terrain on Mount Rinjani can be exhausting and extremely dangerous if not careful. Your luggage will be stored in our office during the trek. You can retrieve them after finishing your hike. Bring only what you need and leave the rest ant our office.
Below are list of items on what you should bring for your Mount Rinjani Trekking activities:
Clothing & Footwear:
2 or 3 pcs of T-Shirts
HeatTech thermal clothing for change in temperature during the night)
Windproof Jacket
2 pairs of shorts
1 or 2 pairs of long trek pants
A pair of gloves
Boots or shoes suited to terrain lightweight preferably
Extra pairs of socks
Climate & Bugs protection:
Sunblock lotion*
Hat or Cap, Sunglasses*
Lip balm*
Insect repellent
Long-sleeve shirt for Sun, bugs
* As you will be exposed under the Sun for a long period of time, it is important to bring one to prevent severe sunburn.
Health & Hygiene:
Muscle rub ointment/ pain relieving patch
Basic first-aid kit Adhesive bandages, Antiseptic wipes, Blister dressing etc.
Antihistamine to treat allergic reactions
Toiletries
Small towel (quick-dry)
Toilet papers
Electronics & Others:
Headlamp or Flashlight or Torch
Cellphone (some places may not have telecommunications networks
Camera, Handycam (manual or digital)
Extra rolls of film for manual camera or fully charged extra batteries for digital camera
Power bank and cable for charging
Some cash money for tipping the mountain guide and porters
